What these Terms cover

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ImgVid, an online AI image-to-video generator available at imgvid.net. By creating an account or using ImgVid, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What ImgVid does

ImgVid lets you upload a still image and generate a short video from it, optionally guided by a text prompt describing the motion you want. ImgVid also supports start/end-frame and reference-image generation modes. Generation is performed using third-party AI models operated by outside providers, not by ImgVid itself.

Who can use ImgVid

You create an account by signing in with Google. You must provide accurate information via that sign-in process and are responsible for keeping your Google account secure, since it controls access to your ImgVid account.

You must be at least 18 to buy credits or take out a subscription. If you are under 18, you may use ImgVid only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian, and they must make any purchase. ImgVid is not intended for anyone under 13.

Credits, pricing, and subscriptions

Using ImgVid to generate videos costs credits. You can obtain credits by:

• Receiving free credits when you sign up.
• Buying a one-time credit pack.
• Subscribing to a monthly or yearly plan, which grants credits on a recurring basis.

Credits are granted in batches that expire after a period of time; unused credits do not carry forward indefinitely. Prices for credit packs and subscriptions are shown at checkout and may change going forward — if we change pricing, it will apply to future purchases or renewals, not to credits you have already bought.

A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.

If a payment is refunded or reversed, ImgVid reverses the credits that payment granted.

Refunds

Credits are delivered to your account as soon as your payment goes through. All purchases are final, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where ImgVid agrees to one.

If something goes wrong on ImgVid's side, you will not be left out of pocket:

• If a generation fails because of a technical problem at ImgVid or at an AI model provider, the credits held for that attempt are released back to your balance automatically.
• If a purchase or a result has gone wrong in some other way, contact us. ImgVid will look into it, and once the problem is verified, will put it right.

Successful generations consume credits even if you don't like the creative result, since AI output is variable by nature.

Nothing in these Terms affects the statutory rights you have as a consumer.

Payment processing

Payments are handled by third-party payment processors. ImgVid does not see or store your full card number — that data goes directly to the payment processor. Your use of these payment services is also subject to that provider's own terms.

Who owns what

You keep ownership of the images you upload. You also own the videos ImgVid generates for you from your uploads, subject to the rights of any underlying content you did not create yourself (see "Acceptable use" below).

To operate the service, you grant ImgVid a limited licence to store, process, and transmit your uploaded images and prompts — including sending them to third-party AI model providers for the purpose of generating your video — and to display your uploads and generated videos back to you in your account. This licence exists only to run the service for you. ImgVid does not use your uploads or generated videos for advertising or marketing purposes, and does not grant itself any broader licence to your content.

Acceptable use

Because ImgVid animates photographs — often of real people — you agree not to:

• Upload an image of another identifiable person without that person's consent.
• Upload or attempt to generate sexual or exploitative content involving real people or minors.
• Use ImgVid to create impersonations or deepfakes of real individuals intended to deceive or defame.
• Upload material you don't have the right to use, including copyrighted or infringing content.
• Use the service for any illegal purpose.

ImgVid may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, and may remove content that violates it.

AI generation is not guaranteed

Generation depends on third-party AI model providers. ImgVid does not guarantee that any specific prompt or image will produce a particular result, that generation will always succeed, or that upstream providers will always be available. Output quality, style, and reliability can vary based on factors outside ImgVid's control.

No warranty

ImgVid is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. ImgVid does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated output will meet your expectations.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes ImgVid's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded — including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, ImgVid and its operators will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business, or data, arising from your use of the service. ImgVid's total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid to ImgVid in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your own part of the UK: in Scotland, the Scottish courts; in Northern Ireland, the Northern Irish courts. If you are a consumer living outside the UK, this choice of law does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in.

Changes to these Terms

ImgVid may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continuing to use ImgVid after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
